According to production and sales data of the Chinese auto market recently released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, 4.0842 million SUVs were sold cumulatively in China in the first nine months of this year, up 46.68 percent year on year. Haval continued its strong momentum with cumulative sales of 449,400 units in the first nine months, up 63.89 percent year on year, far above the average level of the industry. Top-selling models Haval H6 and H2 were ranked 1st and 6th in the Chinese SUV segment respectively with sales of 222,800 units and 113,600 units.
Haval H6 retains sales championship, Haval H2 boosts Haval sales
In September, the sales of Haval H6 exceeded 30,000 units again to reach 30,500 units, up 10.05 percent year on year. In the first nine months, Haval H6 achieved cumulative sales of 252,800 units, up 13.33 percent year on year, remaining ahead in the Chinese SUV segment and retaining the domestic sales championship for the 30th month.
Haval H2 maintained stable sales of over 10,000 units as another boost to Haval's ever-growing sales. Since its launch in July 2014, the monthly sales of Haval H2 have risen constantly and rapidly, and reached 13,800 units in September, up 39.75 percent year on year.
