With the Haval H2 having only recently been launched, ownership of this machine still means belonging to a pretty exclusive club.
But not for long!
With ride, refinement, safety and price levels that convincingly outgun its rivals in the hotly contested compact SUV segment, expect to soon see hordes of Haval H2s on our roads All the more so given that even the most critical motoring media has been over the moon about this vehicle.
Haval, meanwhile, hosted the first over H2 owners weekend to beautiful Bela Bela this past weekend – and what an affair it was.
Indeed, one proud Haval owner even trekked all the way from Richard's Bay for the occasion – which is no hardship as the H2 excels at open-road travel.
And with an intimate group comprising of the first eight H2 owners in attendance, there was the chance to braai, bond, drink, sing and make merry – as well as get down to more serious business such as interacting with Haval management and giving feedback on the H2. (Spoiler alert: it was all highly positive).
Haval, of course, provided accommodation, gift cards for local supermarkets, and top-quality Haval branded merchandise, including umbrellas, key rings, and caps.
And yes, a tip-top time was had by all.
“I drove 800km to be here, all the way from Richard's Bay, KZN. Love it,” said that one enthusiastic owner.
“Performance from the 1.5 turbo is very good,” said another.
And, of course, with sales already soaring, we at Haval look forward to having yet more outstanding feedback from ecstatic owners – all the more so as Haval is set to become part and parcel of the South African motoring scene.
Indeed, Haval is here for the long run, and the H2 (as well as other upcoming Haval models) will soon be as prolific as potholes on our roads!
