On June 25, 2015, the ceremony for the opening of the first Haval 4S store in Russia and the launch of Haval's new models was held at Aminyevskoye Haval Center. 20 mainstream media outlets in Russia, over 10 potential distributors, as well as leaders from China and Russia witnessed the historic moment. Zhang Di, counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Russia and Tikhonov of Tula Development Group attended and addressed the ceremony.
The ceremony was highlighted by the presentation of Haval's two key SUV models and price announcement: all-terrain SUV Haval H9 and deluxe SUV Haval H8 were launched officially in Russia. Their outstanding performance displayed Haval's strength as a professional SUV brand.
Haval H9 4WD (Elite) was available for sale in Russia from June 25. Haval H8 4WD (Elite) was available for ordering from June 25 and will officially be on sale from October. In the future, other Haval models such as Haval H6 Coupe will be launched in Russia successively.
With a total area of some 4,600 square meters, an exhibition area of 1,200 square meters and a 1,100-square-meter service shop, Aminyevskoye Haval Center is a self-run 4S store of Haval Russia decorated according to Haval's uniform standards. From June 25 to July 25, Haval’s four tier-2 distribution stores in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Saratov and Tyumen will go into operation successively. Under the principle of steady development, Haval will first build its network in large cities and establish some 50 business outlets by late 2017.
Haval made its debut at the Moscow International Automobile Salon in August 2014. The presentation of all series and the test drive of Haval H8 on professional fields offered Russian media and consumers intuitive knowledge of Haval brand. In April 2015, journalists from 15 mainstream Russian media outlets visited Haval's booth and plant during the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition to acquire a further understanding of Haval's strength. The official sale of Haval models will bring new professional SUV experience to Russian consumers.
